Central Island Healthcare
is one of the only subacute rehabilitation facilities to offer advanced Cardiac Telemetry Monitoring during rehabilitation.
Upon admission, each patient undergoes a thorough medical history and physical examination. Based on the assessment results, the patient is initiated into our Cardiac Telemetry Monitoring Rehabilitation Program.
During a patient’s therapy program, continuous telemetry monitoring is administered under the direct supervision of an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified Registered Nurse monitoring heart rate, cardiac rhythms, while our Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation oversees the program and conducts weekly team rounds. We use sophisticated, state of the art hospital grade telemetry equipment, and, if in the event of an emergency situation, we implement a STAT procedure. Our response time is immediate, and we are fully equipped with resuscitation carts, including defibrillators and life-saving medications.
